Columbus, GA.- With
continued trends concerning
the economy, high quality,
natural products and the
need for home meal
replacements, Aunt Pearlie’s
Foods announces the launch
of single-meal, 17 oz
retail-sizes of their
products to meet market
demands.
With the realities of
economic pressures that
American’s are facing the
company and Food Industry
Analysts have indicated that
these trends will continue
for some time. Matt Ames,
Marketing Manager for
Columbus Gourmet, parent
company of Aunt Pearlie’s
Foods, cited a survey
published in The Society
for Food Science and
Technology. “Of the
Top
10 Trends in 2007, number 1
on the list was the economic
pressures causing families
to dine-in instead of going
out. Rounding out that
top-ten was a focus on
hand-made and natural
foods.” Ames further added
that, “These issues
propelled us to develop for
the market an offering that
addressed these concerns.”
With the new convenient
portion size for both
consumers and retailers,
Aunt Pearlie’s also received
a face-lift with a new
packaging design and logo
that is subtle and natural
just like the products they
offer. For over 11 years the
Aunt Pearlie’s logo and
packaging had not changed
and the company and its
distributors are excited
about the new look for both
the Retail and Foodservice
products.
